ABOUT

I’ve always had a deep connection with music, and although tastes and styles change, that connection will not. After studying piano from the ages of six to twelve I felt drawn to the guitar and haven’t put it down since. Some of my biggest influences include Phil Keaggy, Paul Jackson Jr., Lee Ritenour, John McLaughlin, Terry Kath, Dean Parks, Ty Tabor, Hendrix, Charlie Christian, Randy Rhodes, and the list goes on. From 2001-2004 I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with multiple scholarships and in 2004 I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Production & Engineering. Following graduation I relocated to Nashville, TN and began working first as an intern and then as an assistant engineer at Dark Horse Recording. From 2006 to 2011 I worked with legendary producer/songwriter Keith Thomas’, filling a variety of roles including writer, musician, programmer, engineer, mixer, and even co-producer. Currently, I have my own mix, programming and overdub room (Pro Tools HD, Apogee Convertors, Pro Tools 12, Logic Pro X, Studio One and an arsenal of production tools and instruments) in Brentwood, TN available for vocals, guitars and almost any overdub needs with a modest but high-quality selection of preamps and mics.

I’ve been fortunate to work and/or play on a number of wonderful projects for many producers, artists, and engineers including: Mat Kearney, Brit Nicole, Heather Headley (2010 Best R&B Gospel Album, Grammy for 2010 Best Traditional Gospel Album), Bebe & Cece Winans (Grammy for 2011 Best R&B Gospel Album, Grammy for 2011 Best Gospel Performance), Group 1 Crew, The Tenors, Forever Jones, Danny Gokey (Dove Award for 2016 Christmas Album of the Year), Avalon, Josh Gracin, Vanessa Williams (41st NAACP Image Awards, Outstanding Jazz Album), Shonlock, Russ Taff, Blake Shelton, Keith Thomas, Rissi Palmer, Steve Green, Laura Turner, Michael Bolton, Landon Pigg, Guy Penrod, Mark Shultz, Relient K, Savvy & Mandy, Savannah Outen, Celica Westbrook, Bill Whittington, Will Champlin, Lindell Cooley, Lori Michaels, Robin Crow, Tim Veazey, Adam Nitti, Mark Townsend, Bernie Herms, Dan Muckala, Shane Keister, David Hamilton, Dick Tunney, Kirk Whalum, Jay DeMarcus, First Call, and Cheyenne Kimball and many others.
